The Chinese Lantern Festival is Both Fun and Educational
The Chinese Lantern Festival is a delight for everyone with an eye for color. Age-old folklore includes dragons, warriors and giant hand-crafted ladybugs as part of the entertainment. This is a festival that gives you an incredible experience along with traditional education for the culture.
Did You Know There’s Snow in Miami?
Next winter fair is found at the Dolphin Mall in Miami. This super fun time is spent the shopping crowd to experience snow. In some cases, people have never lived in a cold-climate, so the Magical Snowfall event allows people to see and feel these weather phenomena up close and in person. This is an excellent way to finish up your shopping, and the snow falls daily from 7 pm to 9 until January 7th.
Catch a Train Ride in Your Pajamas!
Other than the joy of seeing snow, another you can experience all of South Florida with the Polar Express Train Ride offered by Gold Coast Railroad Museum. This fun time is enjoyed by wearing your pajamas and listening to Christmas carols to keep you in the holiday mood. You don’t want to miss out on this tour that ends December 24th.
The Sunshine Music Festival Offers More than Songs!
Now that you’ve heard about snow and a holiday train let’s point out the Sunshine Music Festival to kick off Jan 14th, 2018 at the Mizner Park Amphitheater. If you haven’t enjoyed music under the stars at this Boca Raton location, then you’ll be in for a real treat. There are tons of free and ticketed shows at this venue and plenty of places for indulging in your favorite cuisine afterward.
